While Sweet Tooth Sunday’s are about the actual sweets, they’re also about the good things in life that we enjoy together. Anna loves finding fun treats to share with me and I love being the one she shares them with. Cheesy, I know. But it’s one of those things we’ve been doing together since we met and adds so much enjoyment to our lives.

The path that this little cookie took to our table is such a perfect example of how Anna stumbles upon these sweets that we share and has a great memory to go along with it.

Last weekend Anna and her mom enjoyed a day trip to Rancho La Puerta. They hiked, caught each other up on their lives, pampered themselves and also took a cooking class taught by Michele Coulon.

Michele shared recipes for simple deserts with natural and fresh ingredients. No corn syrup. No artificial coloring. Completely natural.

Michele loves baking and it shows and this little shortbread cookie was sent home with Anna for us to enjoy.

And when we look back on this journal entry, not only will we remember the cookie, but Anna will remember day tripping to Rancho La Puerta with her mom and everything they experienced together.

Thank you, Michele.

Enjoy…
