Wow, I have no idea what happened to the past 4 weeks…a blink of an eye and, poof, the month is gone!

The month started with my birthday, I booked another 12 weddings, shot a ton of engagements, families and a few newborns. Which, by the way, is such an amazing experience that I cannot put into words. March was one for the record books. One of my favorites of all time and I feel like we accomplished so much.

But, where in all this do we squeeze in our prep for the Big Adventure? Well, we haven’t! I hate to say it but our training program collapsed under the pressure of everyday life.

Yup, we’re human.

Our motivation is there but we need to be better about actually taking the time to get out for a run and build some endurance! The time change has helped us get out a few times for a brisk walk in the evening…which feels great and keeps us refreshed.

So, it’s about 4 weeks before our trip and we have a few necessities..2 backpacks, 2 sleeping bags, new hiking shoes and a plan for the week with maps and guides. Basically anything you can do online. We’re on the hunt for a few items next week (stove, food, clothing) but we’re in some serious need of getting outside and building endurance for this.

The pressure is on…it’s time to get to it! Encourage us blog world…words of encouragement are greatly welcome.
