Katie and Ryan – A styled Engagement

I’d been dying to work with Krystel since we met at a local bridal expo earlier this year. Her enthusiasm for weddings and style are infectious and as a photographer and lover of all things visual, combining the two can be very exciting.

When she approached me with the idea of running a contest to give away a styled engagement session to a lucky couple I couldn’t say no…such a brilliant idea!

6 couples entered the contest and unfortunately only 1 could win (well, we actually gave the 2nd place couple a session as well and more on that later). But here is where we meet the winners…Katie and Ryan. Two people completely in love and ready to share the rest of their lives together. Krystel met with Katie and Ryan and customized the shoot around things that are important to them…we started in downtown San Diego at Ghirardelli for a Pepsi and a milkshake and then moved to Coronado for the sunset.
