It’s been a year.

Not sure how that happened, but about one year ago we were traveling through Italy. A crazy wonderful trip filled us with memories that will last a lifetime. Adrianna tried to teach me Latin and Greek Mythology. She found amazing carbonara, secret spots in each city and we rediscovered the brilliance of the Renaissance. Especially Michelangelo and Caravaggio.

And as we traveled from city to city a theme started to emerge in my images. Bikes, bikes, bicycles. Rain or shine this simple invention rules the roads in Italy. Everyone seemed to have a bike and as much as it served as transportation they’re equally a fashion statement. Style and sophistication…new and preferably old and worn down. The Italians wear their bikes well and use them often.

Being it was about a year ago that I took these images I thought it would be fun to revisit the trip and post a few of my favorites.

Enjoy!
