We were finishing the details of getting Allie into her dress and it was about time for us to head down to start the ceremony. Her father was going to walk her down the aisle but we hand’t seen him in a while.
I realized that they hadn’t seen each other and Allie gave me a glance. We read each others minds. Instead of going out to find him I stayed with Allie. Word spread that we needed him and when he entered the room he saw his daughter…ready to be married, handing him a thank you gift…this was his reaction.
