This is such a great story…I had to share.

Stephanie wrote this great little letter to Dusty…112

There just seemed like such a great back story here so I asked for more details.

So, here’s Stephanie’s story…in her own words.

August 6, 2008 is a very special day for me, it was the day that essentially changed my life.  It’s the day I packed up and moved from Washington State to San Diego. I grew up in Washington but when I turned 25, I decided to pack up everything and head down to California. I drove all the way to San Diego, only knowing where I was going to live, with a new chapter in my life about to begin. This was a huge step for me as I had quit a job that I have had for years and was moving away from most of my family. I knew it was time for me to step out of my comfort zone and really try something new. My plan was to only stay a year and then head back home, knowing I might miss my friends and family too much, but having added a new adventure to my life.  If I had only known what was ahead of me.  On January 10, 2009, I met the love of my life. Dusty is like no one I have ever met. He’s from Oregon and a helicopter pilot in the Navy. He has been with Navy for seven years and has traveled around the world, to say the least. Being a small town girl myself, I absolutely love listening to his stories and all the adventures he’s been on.  He has truly opened my eyes to all the possibilities of sharing new experiences with him. On January 31, 2010 Dusty proposed. It was what every girl dreamed of, a horseback ride, an oblivious girlifriend (me) and a boyfriend on one knee, ring in hand, telling me that I was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.  I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and Dusty is the reason I traveled twelve hundred miles that August day. Without a doubt, I can say that I am going to marry my best friend and my happily ever after is about to begin.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Stephanie!  I can’t wait to see you guys for our e-session!!
